Direct answer

Use launch-monitor data on the course as a starting number.

Launch-monitor data helps on the course only after you know which club and carry you saved. Import the session you choose, confirm those rows, then mark one outdoor shot expected, short, or long.

A simple order of work

  1. Import the text, CSV, or screenshot you choose. Confirm the club and the carry before you save.
  2. Leave the number in Bag DNA with its source label, on a trusted club card.
  3. On the course, open Course Mode on the phone and mark that club expected, short, or long.

Course Mode does not calculate a new yardage for you. It stores what happened next to the number you already saved. Watch Course Mode is the public page for that check. A watch is not required, and no watch partnership is claimed.

What the outdoor mark means

Expected, short, or long describes that shot. It does not grade the launch monitor, prove the simulator, or set a distance you will hit next week. If you could not see the landing, record the unknown instead of inventing a carry.

Names the import parser can recognize

Bay2Course reads club and carry rows from text, a CSV, or a screenshot you choose. The parser looks for the names below in that text. A match only labels the source. It is not an official integration, API, endorsement, or partnership.

The source support matrix uses the same boundary: user-directed text, CSV, or a screenshot. See how import works.

Common questions

Do I need a watch to use Course Mode?

No. Course Mode on the phone records expected, short, or long. Watch Course Mode describes that same check. A watch is not required.

Does importing a screenshot connect Bay2Course to the launch monitor?

No. You choose the text, CSV, or screenshot. The parser labels names it recognizes. That is not an official connection or partnership.

What should I do when the landing is hidden?

Record that you could not see it. Do not fill in a carry from memory or from the indoor number and call that a course result.

Keep going

Save the number on a trusted club card, then check one club outside. Course Mode on the phone records expected, short, or long. A watch is not required.
