Direct answer

Keep winter sim numbers, then recheck them in spring.

Off-season simulator numbers are worth keeping, and they are not next spring’s automatic playing yardages. Date the session, name the source, and recheck the same clubs outside when you can.

What is worth saving indoors

A winter session is still evidence about that day: the club, the carry, and the source. Save it on a trusted club card so spring you can see where the number came from. Do not relabel it as a course result because the season changed.

You do not need to delete indoor history when the course opens. You need to tell the indoor record and the outdoor check apart.

The first outdoor check

Recheck one club you actually play, not the whole bag. Open the saved session, then use Course Mode to mark expected, short, or long. That mark updates the story of the club. It does not prove the rest of the bag, and it does not predict the next round.

Weather, lie, and a different ball can change what you see. Record the condition you noticed instead of applying last winter’s number unchanged.

Names the import parser can recognize

Bay2Course reads club and carry rows from text, a CSV, or a screenshot you choose. The parser looks for the names below in that text. A match only labels the source. It is not an official integration, API, endorsement, or partnership.

The source support matrix uses the same boundary: user-directed text, CSV, or a screenshot. See how import works.

Common questions

Will last winter’s simulator number still be right in spring?

You cannot know that from the indoor record alone. Keep it as a dated practice note and compare the same club on the course before you play it unchanged.

Should I delete winter sessions when the season starts?

No. A dated session is still useful context. Mark it as a simulator record so it is not confused with a course result.

What should I recheck first?

One club you actually play, not the whole bag. Reopen that record, then use Course Mode for a single outdoor check.

Keep going

Save the number on a trusted club card, then check one club outside. Course Mode on the phone records expected, short, or long. A watch is not required.
