Competition Guardrails
High-school, NCAA, NIL, and amateur-golf use needs extra care.
Bay2Course is a planning and data-organizing tool. It is not a rules official, school compliance office, tournament committee, NIL advisor, or amateur-status authority.
Competition Use
Before using Bay2Course during a round, tournament, qualifier, school match, college event, league, or posted handicap round, users should check the event's terms of competition, local rules, school rules, device policy, and the applicable Rules of Golf. Distance-measuring devices and apps may be allowed in many settings, but committees can restrict features or device use.
Bay2Course should not be used during a competition to access prohibited advice, live coaching, club recommendations, slope-adjusted calculations, wind calculations, or other features that the committee or Rules of Golf do not allow.
High School Golf
High-school golf rules and eligibility policies can vary by state association, school, conference, event, and coach. Student-athletes and parents should verify device use, prizes, sponsorships, NIL activity, social media promotion, and commercial code sharing with their school or state association before using Bay2Course in a school-golf context.
NCAA and NIL
NCAA NIL rules, school policies, state law, disclosure requirements, and recruiting rules can change. Bay2Course creator codes, venue codes, sponsorships, discounts, free access, prizes, or paid promotions may create compliance obligations for student-athletes. Student-athletes should talk to their compliance office before accepting value, posting endorsements, or using their name, image, or likeness with Bay2Course.
Amateur Status
Golfers who compete as amateurs should check USGA/R&A amateur-status rules before accepting prize money, equipment, expenses, instruction compensation, endorsements, or other benefits connected to golf performance or promotion.
