Bay2Course Golf Record is operated by Below Zero Media / Josh Frost. Privacy questions and deletion requests can be sent to [email protected].

Data You Provide

• Name and email address when you create or recover an account or submit a founder-code, waitlist, newsletter, venue, media, partner, or support request.
• Optional request type, launch code, and message details submitted through the app.
• Golf session stats, equipment notes, and course-planning notes you save in the app.
• Images or screenshots you choose to import for stat extraction.
• Purchase status and store transaction identifiers needed to verify or restore Pro access. Apple, Google, or Stripe processes payment credentials; Bay2Course does not receive your full card number.

How Data Is Used

• To help you save and review golf simulator stats.
• To provide local and cloud-backed records, hosted cards, Bag DNA, equipment locker, nearby-course search, and export features.
• To authenticate accounts and verify, restore, and support purchases.
• To respond to founder-code, waitlist, newsletter, media, venue, or partner requests.
• To improve app quality, reliability, and launch planning.

Storage, Screenshot Processing, and Hosted Cards

Bay2Course stores app preferences and parts of your golf record on your device using browser/app local storage. When you sign in or use cloud features, account details, saved records, purchase status, and recovery data may also be stored by Bay2Course infrastructure. Screenshot OCR runs client-side in the app. You choose which screenshot or image to import, and you review detected stats before saving.

If you create a hosted card, the card data is stored on Bay2Course infrastructure and can be viewed by anyone with its unguessable link until you revoke it. Do not put information in a hosted card that you do not want link recipients to see.

Location

If you choose Use GPS Nearby, the app reads your device's precise location and sends the coordinates to Bay2Course's nearby-course endpoint to find and sort nearby public course records. Precise coordinates are used for that requested feature and are not included in Bay2Course analytics events.

Analytics and Diagnostics

Bay2Course records first-party product events such as page views, imports, saves, card views, paywall activity, purchase outcomes, restores, and errors. Events may include a pseudonymous user or device identifier, app version, platform, referral or campaign code, and product interaction details. Server-side analytics may be forwarded to Amplitude to measure activation, reliability, and feature use. Bay2Course does not use this information for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data and do not use app data for cross-app tracking. Data may be processed by service providers used to operate the app, including Cloudflare for hosting, storage, and security; Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse protection; SendGrid for account or owner notifications; Amplitude for product analytics; and Apple, Google, or Stripe for purchase processing. Cloudflare Turnstile may process browser and interaction signals under Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the app, users, or business.

Security

We use HTTPS and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfect, so please avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not needed for the app.

Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally can be removed by clearing app/browser storage or deleting the app. Hosted cards can be revoked using the revoke control provided when the card is created. For account, cloud record, purchase-support, waitlist, founder-code, newsletter, venue, media, partner, or support data, email [email protected] with the subject "Bay2Course Data Deletion" and include the email address used with Bay2Course. Some transaction, security, or legal records may be retained when required for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or law. Newsletter subscribers can also opt out at bay2course.com/unsubscribe.

Children

Bay2Course is intended for general golf audiences and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information for a child without appropriate parental or guardian consent.

Affiliations

Bay2Course is not an official X-Golf app and does not claim an official X-Golf partnership unless a formal partnership is announced.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
