Bay2Course Data Passport helps golfers save simulator sessions, review detected stats, track equipment, and export a golfer-owned data passport. This policy explains what data the app handles and how to contact us.
Developer and Contact
Bay2Course Data Passport is operated by Below Zero Media / Josh Frost. Privacy questions and deletion requests can be sent to [email protected].
Data You Provide
- Name and email address if you submit a founder-code, waitlist, venue, media, or partner request.
- Optional request type, launch code, and message details submitted through the app.
- Golf session stats, equipment notes, and course-planning notes you save in the app.
- Images or screenshots you choose to import for stat extraction.
How Data Is Used
- To help you save and review golf simulator stats.
- To provide local stats, Bag DNA, equipment locker, and JSON export features.
- To respond to founder-code, waitlist, media, venue, or partner requests.
- To improve app quality, reliability, and launch planning.
Local Storage and Screenshot Processing
The current MVP stores golf sessions primarily on your device using browser/app local storage. Screenshot OCR runs client-side in the app. You choose which screenshot or image to import, and you review detected stats before saving.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers used to operate the app, such as Cloudflare for hosting, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse protection, and SendGrid for owner notifications once email delivery is configured. Cloudflare Turnstile may process browser and interaction signals under Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the app, users, or business.
Security
We use HTTPS and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfect, so please avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not needed for the app.
Retention and Deletion
Data stored locally can be removed by clearing app/browser storage or deleting saved sessions when that feature is added. For submitted waitlist, founder-code, venue, media, or partner requests, email [email protected] with the subject "Bay2Course Data Deletion" and include the email address used in the request.
Children
Bay2Course is intended for general golf audiences and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information for a child without appropriate parental or guardian consent.
Affiliations
Bay2Course is not an official X-Golf app and does not claim an official X-Golf partnership unless a formal partnership is announced.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
